Kangana Ranaut Responds to Student Protests, Says Every Action Has a Reaction

Kangana Ranaut, actor and BJP MP, has also weighed in on the student protests and said those who express their views publicly should also be prepared to face criticism. Her remarks have triggered fresh debates online as protests continue.

Kangana referred to Newton's Third Law when she recalled that protestors were beaten during demonstrations and that "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction." She said that actions during protests lead to consequences and that those who take part in protests should be aware of the reactions their actions might get.

Kangana also claimed that some protesters damaged public property and used abusive language in the demonstrations. She did not provide any evidence or name any particular individuals, though.
