The much-anticipated trailer of Ramayana is finally out and it is a great start to the movie which has the audience’s attention. The mythological epic from Nitesh Tiwari tells this beautiful story of India’s greatest epic in a visually immersive way. From visual effects to big screen action and the grand scale of the movie is very big but also the story is very emotional and all around the movie is not only the movie, it is a real world experience.

Ramayana trailer review

Ranbir Kapoor who takes on the role of Lord Rama is an effective first impression in his calm, composed and dignified screen presence. His cool, composed and muscular manner convey the grace of the character. Sai Pallavi, as Sita, brings a lot of grace and emotional warmth and Yash is a great Ravana. He is limited in his time on the trailer, but his hard-charging look and his commanding voice and his strength already have made him one of the major talking points for the fans.

One of the trailer’s biggest strengths is the visual presentation. The cinematography, production design and visual effects combine to create an immersive cinematic experience that feels both grand and authentic. Battle sequences, palace settings, forests and mythological landscapes were all carefully created and designed. The background score takes the emotional toll even further and adds weight to every scene without getting lost in the story.

The trailer does not reveal too much about the story because it doesn’t want anything too much about the characters; it has to show us the central characters and the emotional conflict between good and evil. The dialogues are telling, the pace of the dialogue is solid, and the editing is keeping the audience engaged throughout. The reverence for the source material and the modern-day methods for filming and the modern-day technique have been praised in the epic on a global scale: people love how well it is depicted here, with respect.

In general the Ramayana trailer has created a lot of buzz for the movie ahead of release date. If the entire movie is to live up to the promise from the trailer and it stands to be one of the largest Indian cinema movies ever made it’s likely to be a huge hit. The cast is really talented, the visuals are world class, there’s some emotional storytelling and the creative team is a well-rounded team like this, Ramayana is expected to make it to the top of mythological films of this year.
