Jason Sanjay, the son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay, has sent a message to his father, who has been in politics for close to 40 years. The moment his father became Chief Minister was a proud moment for his family he said.
Jason Sanjay described Vijay's elevation to the state's highest office as a historic revolution.
"My Appa as CM is the revolution now. It’s a new level of responsibility for me, my sister and everyone in my family.”
Jason acknowledged that his father’s new role brings added responsibility not only for Vijay but to every member of the family.
He also said the family’s legacy is something they must protect and carry forward with sincerity and dedication.
It’s the legacy my family has to carry forward and safeguard.
Jason, as the son of one of Tamil Nadu’s most influential political leaders and cinema titans, revealed that Vijay motivated him to take his own path rather than live with the family name.
Jason said, sharing his father’s advice:
"My Appa gave me advice that I need to build my own identity and name. And he also said when you need help, reach out."
