There is speculation in the film industry that Suriya will finally collaborate with the film industry’s all-time favourite director SS Rajamouli in a movie with him. In the same film industry according to industry reports, the Tamil superstar has already struck a deal with the visionary director and is working with him, but there’s no official announcement from the movie makers or actors.
The collaboration has created great excitement among the fans as they will be having one of Tamil cinema’s most versatile actors alongside the director behind global blockbusters like Baahubali and RRR. If the reports are believed, the project will be among the most eagerly awaited pan-Indian films in the future.
Interestingly, this is not the first time Suriya's name has been associated with Rajamouli. Before Magadheera was made, reports indicated that Suriya was being considered for the film. But it never happened and Ram Charan eventually played it (Telugu cinema's biggest hit).
Over the years, the fans have repeatedly asked to see Suriya and Rajamouli work together. Suriya’s reputation for taking difficult, performative roles and Rajamouli’s vast storytelling is a dream collaboration for Indian cinema fans.
