The actress Akanksha Chamola has given an update about her divorce from television actor Gaurav Khanna as she has said she confirmed her separation from TV actor Gaurav Khanna but they have not yet been able to get the formal paperwork through the separation and have not yet been able to file for separation papers because of their work schedule conflicts.

The divorce is “definitely happening” according to Akanksha, who recently appeared on Lock Upp Season 2, and that the process started long before she entered the reality show, she said. She and Gaurav just could not find a convenient time to sit down together and sign the necessary documents, she said.
According to Akanksha, the separation was already in place before Gaurav participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi. She added that the delay in signing the documents should not be interpreted as uncertainty about their decision to part ways.
“It is definitely happening,” Akanksha said when she was discussing the matter. She said their schedules have always conflicted so that it’s hard to find the right time to complete the formalities.
The news came just weeks after Akanksha revealed her separation at Lock Upp 2’s premiere. The fact that she did not have to go public made it all the more shocking to fans because the couple’s personal relationship had been kept out of public discussion.
Gaurav and Akanksha married in November 2016 and have been together for nearly 10 years. Gaurav is known for his television shows, especially Anuj Kapadia in Anupamaa. And he is also present on the reality shows Celebrity MasterChef India and Bigg Boss 19.
Akanksha has also spoken about her separation on other occasions in the past and asked people to respect their privacy. In a recent media encounter she told photographers that she would no longer answer questions about Gaurav and her personal relationship.
The recent comments make it clear that the legal separation is still awaiting completion of the formal documentation. However, Akanksha's statement makes clear that the decision to divorce was taken before her participation in Lock Upp 2 and is not related to the reality show's publicity.
However, both actors remain focused on their professional commitments, so busy are they and the final paperwork is not yet signed.
The couple’s separation has attracted a lot of attention from TV viewers but Akanksha’s comments seem to be aimed at clarifying one point: The divorce is taking place, even though the legal paperwork has yet to be completed.
