Kannada television is set to welcome the next emotional family drama with Gelathi Gayathri, a serial about the long-standing bond between two childhood friends. The show is anchored by actress Vaishnavi Gowda in the lead role alongside Kruthika and Nagarjuna, and will air on Sun Udaya.
Gelathi Gayathri will air from August 17 and will air at 7 PM from Monday to Saturday. The serial is being produced under the Sri Jai Matha Combines banner and promises to explore the meaning of true friendship through an emotional and relationship-driven story.
Vaishnavi Gowda, who has already established a huge fan following through her TV series and reality shows, will play the central character of Parvathi. Kruthika will play Gayathri, and Nagarjuna is the male lead. Padmini and Raghu will also be part of the cast.
Parvathi and Gayathri are two close friends; their friendship starts in childhood. They grow up having many memories together, from playing together to being in each other’s happiest and hardest moments. But ultimately, the two friends have to part ways due to circumstances.
