Telugu actor Kiran Abbavaram has set up his next ambitious project Indraputra, a pan-Indian mythological action-fantasy that wants to attract the world for a grand new cinematic universe. The film will be produced and staged by Zee Studios and producer Prerna Arora and directed by debutant filmmaker Srikanth Puppala.
Indraputra is going to combine mythology, supernatural elements, fantasy and action as a big multilingual project. The story is the beginning of a whole universe of a continuous struggle between dharma and adharma, the makers have said. That kind of ambitious approach will allow the film to expand beyond a standalone story and potentially take us to future episodes.
