That will be Ram Charan and director Sukumar’s new film together after Rangasthalam’s big success in terms of success. They have already caught the attention of the genre and fans want to see Ram Charan and director Sukumar together for a new movie.
RC17 is planned as a major project and may be released theatrically in late 2027 or early 2028, the developers have yet to reveal a release date or set a production schedule.
The film is also expected to have music by famous composer Devi Sri Prasad, another familiar creative link to the project.
Ram Charan, Sukumar and Devi Sri Prasad had worked together on Rangasthalam, which not only became one of the biggest hits in Telugu cinema but also one of the best in the world in terms of storytelling, performances, music and period setting.
The possibility of the trio reuniting has created high expectations for RC17. The film will have to be a completely new genre or have elements of emotional and rural storytelling as in Rangasthalam.
