A dispute between music composers Amaal Mallik and Tanishk Bagchi is ongoing right now and it is not only about music credits but also about plagiarism and royalty issues. Amaal already raised his accusations against Tanishk, just the start of the war of words between the two composers.
The latest development came after Tanishk Bagchi appeared to respond to Amaal's criticism on Instagram. Tanishk wrote that he knew what Amaal was going through and had “a lot of respect” for him as an artist. And he wished Amaal a quick recovery.
But Amaal did not seem to be satisfied with this message. He responded by issuing lengthy posts on X that accused Tanishk of trying to distract from more serious problems. Amaal writes in one of his posts about one such woman in the music industry. He alleged that Tanishk promised marriage to the woman, abused, and later abandoned her before marrying someone else.
Amaal also claimed the woman was emotionally distraught. The claims have not been confirmed and Tanishk Bagchi has not publicly commented on the latest allegations.
Amaal Challenges Tanishk to Take Legal Action
In his posts, Amaal also challenged Tanishk to pursue legal action if he believed the allegations were false. The composer said he would defend his claims in court and that he was not afraid of legal proceedings.
The recent exchange also included some personal comments from Amaal about Tanishk. Amaal claimed that he was receiving a lot of support from the audience and accused Tanishk of trying to remain relevant by saying his name.
The dispute has been building for some time. Amaal had accused Tanishk of plagiarism and claimed that he had taken credit for work associated with songs of Saiyaara. He also claimed that Tanishk had used artificial intelligence in music production and presented some works as original.
Amaal had earlier spoken of alleged online campaigns against him and defended Yash Raj Films in a wider battle over music royalties. He also claimed to have heard about some uncharacteristic private comments by Tanishk on some of the stars of music.
Tanishk Bagchi has not replied to Amaal Mallik’s latest allegations of personal life or to the other claims in the recent posts. As the public feud continues and no official confirmation has been given to the claims made by either side, the allegations remain unverified.
