Arijit Singh Returns to Playback Singing with 'Yeh Awarapan' for Awarapan 2
After quitting playback singing earlier this year, Arijit Singh is back with the title track of Awarapan 2: Yeh Awarapan. This is a special case for the singer and already has music fans and Bollywood fans giddy.
Arijit Singh had already announced in January of 2026 that he would stop recording new playback songs to concentrate on his independent music projects and live performances. While disappointment is there in millions of fans, the singer has now chosen to lend his voice to Awarapan 2, which makes his return even more special.
Yeh Awarapan is composed by Amaal Mallik and is written by Rashmi Virag and will be an emotional melody, so its authenticity will be very close to the original Awarapan. The song will be released tomorrow at 11:11 a.m., and the makers are going to launch a striking poster of Emraan Hashmi on the same day, and this will give the song a lot of fanfare on social media.
The song will also mark Arijit Singh’s return with Vishesh Films after nearly two decades.
