Ajay Devgn's much-anticipated comedy entertainer Dhamaal 4 has already opened in the Indian box office and has earned an estimated ₹13.75 crore on the first day of release. The fourth film from the popular Dhamaal franchise was released on 10th July and has got a positive response from family and franchise fans. The good Day 1 performance of the film has cemented the popularity of one of Bollywood's most popular comedy series.
The film was gradually increasing in occupancy during the day. The morning shows started on a moderate note but collections increased significantly during the afternoon and evening shows due to positive word of mouth and strong weekend demand. Multiplexes in metro cities as well as single-screen theatres in Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets had good footfalls as the day progressed.

Industry experts expected a solid opening in the range of ₹13–16 crore in India, and the film has been able to meet most of that expectation. Although its Day 1 performance is lower than Total Dhamaal, which remains the franchise’s biggest opener, Dhamaal 4 has still received one of the best openings of Ajay Devgn’s comedy career. Trade analysts believe that it now has a very good chance to thrive and gain much momentum if family audiences continue to support the movie.
The film’s most talked-about moment is the tribute to late actor Satish Kaushik. CGI and AI technology were used to recreate his beloved character, Bata Bhai, creating an emotional experience and honoring his contributions to the franchise. The nostalgic moment has generated a lot of buzz among the moviegoers and on social media.
