Divyenndu Reveals Shraddha Kapoor and Anupam Kher Created His Social Media Accounts
Bollywood actor Divyenndu told the story of how he first entered the world of social media and said that two of the most popular Bollywood actors Shraddha Kapoor and Anupam Kher helped him to start his online presence.
Divyenndu, who was famous for playing Munna Tripathi in the Mirzapur franchise, spoke about his social media journey in a recent conversation.
He said his Instagram account was started with Shraddha Kapoor and the veteran actor Anupam Kher helped him to set up his Twitter account.
They’re friends and support systems in the film industry is a very unusual thing for such a big deal. But even if social media has become an integral part of the career of an actor, Divyenndu didn’t start building his online presence on his own.
Shraddha Kapoor is famous for films like Aashiqui 2, Stree and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and is one of the most popular social media personalities in Bollywood. She has previously said she likes to connect with her fans that way and she does her Instagram herself.
Anupam Kher, too, has been active on social media (with Twitter): He has used Twitter to interact with fans.
Kher said social media is where he is able to interact directly with fans and share his thoughts with a large audience.
For Divyenndu, the social media journey had turned into a way of interacting with people outside of his films and streaming projects.
His fame went up even more after his films and web series (especially “Mirzapur”) where Munna Tripathi became one of the most popular characters in Indian streaming entertainment.
The actor has also been attached to projects like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Chashme Baddoor, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and The Railway Men.
And his choice of Divyenndu as the professional name rather than his full name has also been part of his public identity.
Shraddha Kapoor and Anupam Kher’s help in setting up his social media accounts has now brought a personal dimension to his career journey.
And it’s also a lesson to learn how established actors can aid their colleagues in getting started and keep them interested in new platforms; social media is still central to celebrity culture.
Divyenndu’s admission has attracted attention, since Instagram and Twitter have become the vehicles the actors use to communicate with fans, promote projects and share glimpses of their personal and professional lives.
What began with an assist from two of the other actors became a big part of Divyenndu's relationship with the fan base that is swelling.
