Drishyam: The Conclusion Trailer Tomorrow: Ajay Devgn Returns as Vijay Salgaonkar for the Final Chapter on October 2
“Jo kahaani 2 October se shuru hui thi… woh khatam bhi 2 October ko hogi.” With this line makers of Drishyam: The Conclusion announced that trailer of much awaited film is out and Ajay Devgn’s popular Hindi thriller franchise is ready for its last chapter.
The Drishyam: The Conclusion trailer will come tomorrow (September 9, 2026) and the film releases on October 2, 2026. Ajay Devgn tweeted this update and fans of franchise were only more excited now.
2nd Oct is special for Drishyam story line. Promo campaign is pushing that date deliberately because if Salgaonkar family’s carefully crafted story ends on Oct 2 it will be miracle.
Ajay Devgn is back as Vijay Salgaonkar — the ordinary family man who was able to protect his family and build an apparently airtight version of events which became USP of franchise. Tabu too is back with Shriya Saran playing Rajat Kapoor’s sister again. Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj add new layers to last instalment.
Abhishek Pathak directed Drishyam 2 and film is made by him again. Next movie coming up is called third and last Hindi chapter of franchise and will end cat-and-mouse war around Salgaonkar family.
The first two Hindi films made Drishyam one of Bollywood’s biggest suspense franchises. 2015 film introduced us to Vijay Salgaonkar and his family; Drishyam 2 (2022) kept mystery around disappearance at heart of story in 2022.
Now Drishyam: The Conclusion will take the story into another phase and it is whether Vijay’s carefully guarded secret can withstand another probe that will be central question.
The timing of trailer announcement has also excited fans. The trailer was U/A 16+ certified and about 2 minutes and 52 seconds long. Promo launch was done in Goa before online release as well.
The biggest draw for fans will be obviously Ajay Devgn and Tabu back to their roles. Their performances were the tension of earlier films (psychological battle between Vijay & investigating authorities).
The casting of Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj only increased drama about which way story will go. Makers have kept major plot points under wraps but title The Conclusion tells us franchise is gearing up for showdown already.
2 October also puts the film into big festive window which could give thriller good theatrical window. Date is marketing now #DrishyamDay and #2ndOct used to build momentum.
When the trailer is out tomorrow audiences will get their first extended look at what might be the most important chapter in Vijay Salgaonkar’s story.
One thing is for sure — the story started sometime around October 2 and it’s on its way to its final October 2.
