The National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) has announced the opening of submissions for the 57th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) where filmmakers from India and around the world will be invited to participate in one of the most prestigious cinematic events in the country.

The upcoming IFFI will be held once again in Goa, bringing together celebrated filmmakers, industry experts, and film lovers.
As one of Asia’s longest-running film festivals, IFFI has been a venue for the presentation of world-class movies, creative storytelling, and cultural exchange in films and cinema.
Organised by the NFDC of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the festival covers the best of Indian and international films and promotes cross-cultural collaboration in the global film industry.
The new call for entries has been opened and filmmakers can submit feature films, documentaries, short films, and other eligible productions in a variety of areas of the festival.
Films will be honoured for their narrative, innovative filmmaking techniques, and emerging talent from around the world.
Every year, IFFI attracts world-class directors, producers, actors, critics, and film lovers who come together to see an array of films from different cultures and perspectives.
The festival includes panel discussions, masterclasses, workshops, and interactive sessions to see the best in the industry and the latest trends in cinema and digital storytelling.
For Indian filmmakers, IFFI offers an opportunity to present their work to an international audience and a large number of international cinema groups and prestigious juries.
Independent filmmakers, regional filmmakers, and first-time directors benefit from the exposure of the festival and will be able to get their movies to gain international exposure and distribution for the event.
The International Film Festival of India has grown into an important cultural event that celebrates the richness of world cinema and encourages artistic innovation and technological advancements in filmmaking.
The festival also serves as a networking platform where filmmakers can connect with distributors, production houses, investors, and global entertainment professionals.
NFDC has advised interested participants to take a detailed look at eligibility criteria, submission guidelines, and deadlines for submitting their films. Only entries that meet the prescribed requirements will be considered in the selection process.
The 57th IFFI will again be full of filmmakers at home and abroad, and more and more of them will be submitting their films on the platform. The festival is also going to help cement Goa as a cultural event city for culture and cinema.
The first batch of entries is now open for the films to be entered in IFFI and filmmakers can start to show their creativity on one of the world’s most prestigious film festival venues.
So, as IFFI enters another memorable edition, the movies that celebrate storytelling, creativity, and the universal appeal of cinema can be seen at IFFI.
