Naseeruddin Shah has broken his silence on the violence at the “Chalo Sansad” march in Delhi’s “Chalo Sansad” rally and voiced his support for student protests against the alleged NET paper leak controversy, as he spoke to the media.
The actor who has been vocal on social and political topics has also posted a video message on Instagram after video from the July 20 protest at Jantar Mantar spread across social media.
Shah looked emotional in the video and he expressed anger over the treatment of young protesters by those in power. The scenes deeply disturbed him and he suggested we all think about what would happen if this kind of action happened to a generation of young people and a country's youth and future generations.
