Ramayana Trailer Leaks Spark Massive Buzz After Exclusive Delhi Premiere Ahead of Diwali 2026 Release

The much-anticipated trailer of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana has taken social media by storm after its exclusive premiere at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi on July 18. Although the official trailer is yet to be released online, leaked videos and audience reactions have already created tremendous excitement among movie lovers. The mythological epic has become a huge hit, with Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, and is being positioned as one of the most powerful Indian movies ever made.

Ramayana Trailer Launch

The almost three-minute trailer is supposedly amazing with world-class VFX and 3D cinematography. Early viewers have praised the film's grand scale, with lush jungle landscapes, epic battle scenes, and powerful emotional moments that bring the legendary epic to life. The visual quality has led to comparisons with Hollywood’s biggest fantasy movies, and expectations are high for what could become an epochal achievement in Indian cinema.

Ranbir Kapoor was one of the central actors in this movie who portrayed Lord Rama. In order to prepare for the role, the actor underwent a remarkable transformation, as filmmakers and co-stars said. Ranbir had quit smoking and alcohol, adopted a vegetarian lifestyle, and did yoga daily so he would be a more natural fit for the character of Lord Rama.

The actor Yash plays Ravana, the most powerful villain in the movie, and is also involved as a producer. He praised Ranbir’s dedication in his preparation. He called Ranbir’s preparation inspiring and said the actor had completely immersed himself in the character. One thing fans believe is that the clash of Ranbir’s Rama and Yash’s Ravana will be one of the biggest in Indian movie history.

The leaked trailer footage has also drawn some criticism. Since the videos circulating online were recorded unofficially inside the venue, the visuals are blurry and don’t quite represent the final theatrical quality. Some people questioned certain visual effects based on these low-quality clips, while many others urged audiences to wait for a high-resolution release before they judge the movie.

The first Ramayana movie will be released on Diwali 2026 and the second in Diwali 2027. Backed by a massive budget and featuring some of the biggest stars in Indian cinema, the film is already being hailed as a huge box office hit. If the initial response of the audience is any indication, Ramayana will redefine mythological storytelling in Indian cinema and will be one of the most eagerly awaited films of the decade.
