On the news that the Ramayana trailer has been postponed, it seems that fans are waiting for an official announcement. The delay has disappointed many, but the makers and moviegoers alike are pleased. Sony Pictures will handle global distribution of the movie's worldwide release and will also help to make it the largest worldwide release for a movie in the history of Indian cinema: one of the biggest worldwide films for an Indian cinematic epic.

Sony will distribute both installments of Ramayana (the ambitious mythological franchise’s first two movies) across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and Asia. The partnership is expected to greatly boost the film’s global box office prospects.

In a further add-on to the excitement, the Ramayana trailer will now be coupled to the theatrical prints of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Since Sony is releasing both movies worldwide, audiences everywhere will get their first look at the epic before one of Hollywood’s most eagerly awaited superhero movies. To maximize audience reach, Hollywood has been putting big trailers in with big movies.

It's said that the launch date is delayed because the movie is big enough to be launched globally rather than just here and there. Although this has not been officially announced on the release date of the trailer, fans can't wait for the whole movie to be released.

Ramayana has attracted lots of attention ever since it was announced for global release because of its grand scale, star-studded cast, cutting-edge visual effects, and big-budget storytelling. The film is out to bring the timeless Indian epic to the world with world-class production standards and cultural and spiritual values.

If these reports are true, the trailer alongside Spider-Man: Brand New Day could introduce Ramayana to millions of moviegoers worldwide and become one of the most viewed Indian film trailers ever shown in cinemas.

With Sony providing the worldwide release, Ramayana is set to become one of the biggest global cinematic events from India, which is going to heighten the anticipation even further after the trailer is postponed.
