Ranbir Opens Up About Playing Lord Ram

Ranbir also spoke openly about the duty of depicting one of India’s most revered mythological figures.

He admitted he initially wondered whether he was “capable enough” to play Lord Ram due to the huge expectations for him.

The actor described it as being an honour and a challenge but one that he took with humility and respect for the cultural and spiritual significance of the epic.

Yash on Playing Ravana

Joining Ranbir at the event was actor Yash, who plays Ravana, and he shared his thoughts about one of the most intricate figures in mythology.

He added that they hope Ravana will be portrayed with emotional depth while remaining true to the epic's essence. Yash was excited to explore the character’s many dimensions in what is expected to be one of the biggest productions in Indian cinema.

A Grand Global Launch

The Ramayana team participated in the San Diego Comic-Con 2026, where the project received considerable international attention.
