Rohit Saraf Breaks Silence On Pratibha Ranta Dating Buzz Ahead Of ‘The Revolutionaries’ Release
Rohit Saraf and Pratibha Ranta have once again been in the midst of dating rumours, but the actor has so far put it to rest. Recently with their new period drama The Revolutionaries on its way to being released, Rohit posted a picture of Pratibha on Instagram. And a fan of Rohit just assumed that the two actors were in love when they were posting it.
Rohit seemed to answer the fan’s question and provided a simple clarification. The actor said that he and Pratibha are co-stars who have been working on The Revolutionaries, which is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on September 11, 2026. His answer seemed to indicate that the relationship rumours shouldn’t be interpreted as an indication of a romantic relationship.
Rohit and Pratibha dating is hardly new. Rumours about the two actors started in late 2025 when they were seen together at filmmaker Nikkhil Advani’s Diwali celebration. Videos of the party (the one showing the two dancing together) were spread on social media. It was because of their easy camaraderie that many fans speculated if their relationship extended beyond their professional association.
Since then, their frequent appearances together have continued to attract attention. The actors have promoted The Revolutionaries and talked about things they have experienced working together as they have a common bond; their easy camaraderie has often been a talking point among fans. Their onscreen collaboration and an apparent comfort in front of them has led to the question of whether there is more to them than friendship.
Rohit and Pratibha were also hanging out with each other (a Filmfare report from 2024) and the two have a lot of time together, and they have a good comfort level, according to the report and are comfortable with each other. By describing Pratibha as somebody he had acted with in a show, the actor has chosen to focus more on their professional collaboration than his personal life. In the meantime, their next series also looks to be a substantial project for both artists. The Revolutionaries has a large ensemble cast of Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Gurfateh Pirzada and Pratibha Ranta. Set in the context of India’s freedom movement and the stories of young revolutionaries who challenged British rule, it will be a series based on the story of young revolutionaries who threatened British rule.
The period drama takes Rash Behari Bose, Sachindra Nath Sanyal, Bagha Jatin and Pratibha Lahiri to the story of the fight against British Raj. The show is based on Sanjeev Sanyal’s bestseller Revolutionaries: The Other Story Of How India Won Its Freedom. Nikkhil Advani has created and directed the series and has brought together young actors from India’s independence movement on board for a few lesser-known chapters of history.
With The Revolutionaries coming to Prime Video on September 11, attention will be on its characters and storyline. For now, Rohit Saraf’s public response has provided fans with his clearest public comment on the dating rumours surrounding him and Pratibha Ranta and the two are still promoting their new series as co-stars.
