The actor shared the pictures on Instagram, where he appeared casual while out in the world. Varun was comfortable getting his hands dirty and doing farming things and not just at film promotions, awards functions and glamorous events. Photos of him working in the fields and doing rice planting were shown as well.

Varun kept the caption brief and simple. Sharing the photographs with his followers, he wrote, “Kheti shuru.” The phrase which literally means “farming has begun” instantly grabbed fans’ attention and the photos added a little personal touch. His photo took one look at something quite different from the busy life in the Hindi film industry.

The pictures also showed Varun’s desire for spending time in nature. With celebrities showing up on the farm photos so often to share their workouts, holidays, film shoots and promotional activities, the actor’s farming post was fascinating because it was so earthy and unconventional. He was in the fields, in fact, when he planted rice and handled a shovel, participating in the work, and not just posing for pictures.

Varun Dhawan is one of the most popular actors of the Hindi film industry right now. From his first acting debut, he has become a popular actor and a superstar and his social media posts are always the ones that get people’s eyes.

Varun’s latest movie is "Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai", a romantic comedy produced by his father David Dhawan (director). Varun stars alongside Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde as the lead actors. Maniesh Paul, Chunky Panday, Jimmy Sheirgill and Mouni Roy also play supporting roles.

It has also been a topic of interest because it is David Dhawan’s last film as director too. The veteran filmmaker has a strong comedy style and has a history of working with Hindi films, and Varun has starred in movies like "Main Tera Hero", "Judwaa 2" and "Coolie No. 1".

"Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai" revolves around Jass and Bani, a married couple with a marriage problem in which the issue of family planning is a huge problem for them. When Jass and Bani choose to break up, the relationship becomes complicated when Jass starts a new romantic relationship away from home, which is at the heart of this story. But secrets and complicated relationships lead to more twists in the story.

While Varun has stayed in Bollywood movies, his latest social media post gave fans a much more relaxed impression of him. His "Kheti shuru" post also raises a question on whether farming is a personal thing or something he is actually going to do more seriously.

For now, his farming photos have given fans a different angle on his life in the world outside of the entertainment industry. Varun’s day in the fields presented a side of the star that we don’t get to see enough. His simple caption also worked to the natural scene and was an unusual departure from the celebrity updates we often see.

But fans will be waiting for more of what Varun is going to do next as he juggles his acting with personal interests. For now, however, it seems that the Bollywood star is happy to let the fields take centre stage as he declares, “Kheti shuru.”
