Kangana Ranaut, Bollywood actress and politician, is at once a very loud girl and a very unconventional business woman.
She has worked with many Bollywood stars and Salman Khan, however she has not seen him in movies over the years.
Kangana had already answered this question in an interview and said she and Salman Khan had many chances of working together but things just never fell into place. It was never because of any personal conflict, or professional rivalry, she said.
Kangana said Salman had always been warm and supportive of her. She said they had talked about working together several times and a number of film offers came her way. But none of the projects are in line with her artistic vision or what type of roles she wanted to play at that stage of her career.
The actress has always been interested in female-led stories and performance oriented roles. Her movies like Queen, Tanu Weds Manu, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Thalaivii have cemented her as one of Bollywood’s greatest solo performers.
Kangana has often said that she prefers scripts where the female character has significant importance rather than being a supporting role to the male lead.
Kangana had said she had many opportunities to work with Salman, saying they had many opportunities to team up, but the collaborations did not work out because the projects were not what she was looking for. She also said she has much respect for Salman and appreciated his encouragement of her work.
Salman Khan has also praised Kangana a lot too. He has praised her performance and her talent but she had always been vocal about the issues for the film industry. There has never been any reports of a rift between the two stars.
Fans continue to speculate about what a film would look like with Kangana Ranaut and Salman Khan, and a great deal of speculation is going on around. With their huge screen presence and huge fan base together they could have an enormous audience at the box office.
But Kangana’s choice of scripts has been selective and so has her and even the commercial pairing that she has been able to come up with alone is not enough to convince her to join her.
Kangana is still working on films that challenge her as an actor and is balancing her political responsibilities. Salman remains one of the biggest commercial actors of Bollywood with a lot of big projects in the pipeline right now.
Kangana's comments show that the absence of collaboration was more about creative decisions than personal problems and that they have never been in a movie together.
It is unknown if we will ever see the two stars on a screen together but they have respect and Bollywood fans go crazy.
