The recently released trailer of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part 1 is glowingly received by both the film’s fans and celebrities. Among these is the National Award-winning actor and filmmaker Rishab Shetty who praised Yash's portrayal of Ravana in the movie so much; he told us how much he appreciated the film’s grand vision.
Rishab Shetty praised Ramayana’s scale and cinematic ambition which he describes as an impressive feat to bring one of India’s biggest movies to the big screen. The adaptation of such a revered story and how it was made for the masses and to bring it to life is a daunting task and the story is in my opinion very full of layers of emotion and depth.
Rishab praised the entire cast but singled out Ranbir Kapoor and Yash. Noting Ranbir's portrayal of Lord Ram, he said that the actor performed the divine aura of the iconic character. But Yash's commanding screen presence as Ravana was what left him impressed most.
"Ranbir Kapoor made us feel the aura, but Yash stole every shot," Rishab said. His comments quickly spread and people had a lot of the same feeling as they heard him after watching the trailer. Yash’s intense look, powerful expressions, and bigger screen presence have turned out to be one of the biggest talking points since the trailer was released.
The trailer has generated huge buzz for the two-part mythological epic and fans are pleased with its visual effects, production design, background score by Hans Zimmer and A. R. Rahman and the actors’ performances. Ravana’s dark, more imposing look has been appreciated in particular and many fans believe it represents a true manifestation of a king’s power and charisma.
Yash is not only playing Ravana, but is also co-producing the film. But as the trailer is short and only a couple of minutes long, it’s the KGF star’s popularity on social media that has caught everyone’s attention. The character of Ravana is to be a complex and strong villain, not just a one-dimensional villain.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana: Part 1 stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. The film is being engineered on a grand scale with world-class visual effects and international production values by producer Namit Malhotra.
With Rishab Shetty and many other film actors and actresses praising Ramayana: Part 1 so much, expectations for Ramayana: Part 1 continue to rise. Yash's version of Ravana is such a big deal in itself but when it comes to the movie itself the movie is eagerly awaited by its audience and it is so far one of the biggest draws of the movie, and there has not yet been much of a difference for movie lovers.
