The development has only added to the excitement surrounding the movie, which is due to arrive on September 3. Directed by Nahas Hidhayath, best known for action entertainer RDX, I’m Game is also a special project for Dulquer as it marks his 40th film as an actor.

Music And Hype

Jakes Bejoy’s music for the film has attracted attention already. Mazhavillaye and Loser songs have also become popular in the last few months.

Loser is particularly notable as Dulquer Salmaan has lent his voice to the track. Reble and Neeraj Madhav also rap in the song, which makes it contemporary.

Dulquer recently performed Loser live at the film’s pre-release and music launch event at the KINFRA International Exhibition Centre in Kakkanad. The event was attended by a large number of fans and featured performances by Vedan, Zeba Tommy, Armaan Malik and Jakes Bejoy.

What is I’m Game about?

Dulquer plays Dan John, a gambler who uses calculation over luck and develops an algorithm to analyze situations and make decisions.

The strategy appears to work in the beginning, but surprising developments soon put Dan’s carefully planned strategy to the test. The resulting problems are at the heart of the fantasy-action thriller.

The screenplay is written by Sajeer Baba, Ismail Aboobacker and Bilal Moidu, while dialogues are penned by Sajeer Baba, Adarsh Sukumaran and Shabas Rasheed.

Five-Language Release

I’m Game will be released worldwide on September 3 in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. The multilingual release will help the film reach out to a broader audience beyond Kerala and build a pan-Indian appeal.

Dulquer is also producing the movie along with Jom Varghese under the Wayfarer Films banner. The cast includes Antony Varghese, Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar, Kathir, Parth Tiwari and Samyuktha Viswanathan, along with Dulquer.

It was initially scheduled for release on August 20, but has been postponed to September 3. With a distinctive storyline, a multilingual release and a record-breaking music deal, I’m Game is going to be welcomed to theatres with great passion.

Dulquer Salmaan’s film achieves two significant milestones—his 40th acting project and another big production venture—while also demonstrating the increasing commercial influence of Malayalam cinema in the industry.
