Alia Bhatt is making a return to the production world with her upcoming young adult romantic comedy Don’t Be Shy, and her date for an OTT launch is now set.
Backed by Alia Bhatt and her sister Shaheen Bhatt under their production banner Eternal Sunshine Productions, the film will not have a theatrical release and will be released directly on Prime Video.
When Will Don’t Be Shy Release
Don’t Be Shy will be released worldwide on September 25, 2026, on Prime Video in India and in more than 240 countries and territories around the world. It will also be available in Hindi with English subtitles.
The project will get attention from Bollywood and OTT audiences, and Alia Bhatt’s work behind the camera. She has supported films like Darlings and Poacher before, and Don’t Be Shy will only add to her production background.

The supporting cast includes Kunaal Roy Kapur, Anurag Basu, Neha Dhupia, and Anju Alva Naik. The film was written and directed by Sreeti Mukerji, and she has written a story from the emotional highs and lows of young adulthood.
