Srinivasa Mangapuram, the romantic action comedy with Mahesh Babu’s nephew Jai Krishna Ghattamaneni and Bollywood actress Rasha Thadani, has just made its way to digital. After opening on July 30, 2026, it was the first time for film lovers who were unable to watch it at the theater or who want to watch it from the comfort of their homes.
The film will be shown on Prime Video from August 20, 2026. The film was launched on social media with the film’s digital premiere, with the makers saying who could watch it online. Srinivasa Mangapuram is expected to be a movie for Telugu viewers who are after romance, action, family rivalry, and emotional drama which will appeal to them.

The official announcement from the makers called the movie the “MOST INTENSE LOVE STORY of the Season” and it was confirmed that it would be released on Prime Video. Rasha Thadani, daughter of Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon, also makes her Telugu film debut with Srinivasa Mangapuram.
What is Srinivasa Mangapuram about?
Sreenu (Vasu Babu, in the film) is a young man who comes to Tirupati from Ballari. In the city, he stays with the singer Balu. His life goes crazy when he falls in love with Manga (daughter of the feared faction leader Peddi Reddy).
Manga does not immediately reciprocate Sreenu’s love. In fact, she repeatedly rejects him, and her family has already arranged her marriage with another man. But Sreenu is not going to give up on his love. What seems to be a simple love interest quickly becomes complicated by the hot-blooded rivalries in Manga's family.
The story takes a major turn when Sreenu saves Peddi Reddy’s men from another group. This is when his real identity is revealed. He’s not just the young man who arrived in Tirupati; he’s Vasu Babu, a man connected to the powerful Venkatappayya Naidu family.
And then he moves into a flashback in Ballari that tells us much more about Vasu’s childhood, his relationship with Manga, and why he was scared to tell us about the circumstances that forced him to hide his true identity. The revelations add to the romance and bring family dynamics that have long been a big part of the story to the fore.
As other families and rival groups collide, Vasu returns to Tirupati to defend Manga. His relationship with her is challenged by opposition from both sides of the family, forcing him to face the conflicts that have shaped their lives.
Jai Krishna Ghattamaneni and Rasha Thadani lead the cast
Srinivasa Mangapuram marks Jai Krishna Ghattamaneni's entry into the film industry, as he belongs to the prominent Ghattamaneni family and is the nephew of superstar Mahesh Babu. The debut of Jai Krishna Ghattamaneni has received a huge response from the Telugu cinema audience because of his family background.
Rasha Thadani is opposite Jai Krishna in the film. The actress, daughter of Raveena Tandon, is also making her Telugu cinema debut with the project. Their pairing is the central romantic element in the story, while the action and faction-based conflict set the film in motion.
The supporting cast also includes veteran actors such as Mohan Babu, Ajay, Shaam, Naresh, Brahmaji, Mahendran, and Vasuki Anand. They provide a lot of experience to a film that is led by two newcomers.
