Nayanthara’s eagerly awaited fantasy comedy sequel, Mookuthi Amman 2, has started generating so much buzz for it in the film industry with its upcoming OTT deal just days before the movie is released to the public.
Sundar C is now the director as the creative partner to have its stories told and Nayanthara playing the role of the title character Mookuthi Amman again for the second time. This is turning out to be a big deal for Tamil movies and the recent news that the film will be released on JioHotstar (and the movie will be released on digital streaming) is an important step in that direction, but also to the film’s digital rights for a large amount, which is of course the biggest financial accomplishment for the film.
