Bigg Boss Malayalam 8 Shocker: Gayathri Suresh Eliminated Within 48 Hours
In Bigg Boss Malayalam season 8, Gayathri Suresh was the first contestant to get eliminated just two days into the Bigg Boss house. Unlike usual eviction of contestants through audience vote, Gayathri's exit was due to a special spot eviction method in the very first days of the season.
The outcome of the episode was dramatic when the contestants were taken to the show’s “Democracy Room.” Bigg Boss offered the housemates a choice: they could accept a limited food arrangement with kanji and payar for the season or agree to eliminate one contestant from the house.
Most contestants chose to accept the restricted food option rather than remove a fellow housemate so early in the competition. The captain and her assistants decided to proceed with the elimination route.
The contestants were then asked to nominate a housemate for eviction. Many names emerged in the open nomination process - Rini Ann George, Gayathri Suresh, and RJ Anjali. According to the housemates, Rini Ann got the most of the votes so she is most likely to be evicted.
But there was also another major twist in the episode.

Jaseela Parveen (who became the first leader or captain of the house) had the power to make the final decision. Instead of choosing the contestant who received the most nominations, Jaseela picked Gayathri Suresh for eviction.
The decision shocked both the housemates and Gayathri herself. Her exit was especially surprising since the season was only just beginning and she had no chance to build relationships, participate in the game’s long-term strategy, and show viewers her personality.
Gayathri admitted during the episode that she hadn’t had much contact with the other contestants or had enough time to have conversations. She pleaded for another chance to rectify that. But Jaseela’s decision was firm and Gayathri was told to leave the house.
The eviction has attracted a lot of attention because it has departed from Bigg Boss format. Generally, contestants stay in the house for at least a few episodes before nominations and audience votes decide who leaves. In this case, the decision was made internally and within roughly 48 hours of the season.
The unusual elimination has also caused debate among viewers. Some have questioned if it was fair to remove a contestant before she had enough time to show her abilities in the game. But others see the twist as an effective way to introduce uncertainty and competition early in the new season.
Gayathri Suresh was a popular face in Bigg Boss Malayalam 8. After winning the Miss Kerala 2014 title, she appeared on the acting side with Jamna Pyari then in many movies in Malayalam.
Now the bigger question is if Gayathri’s journey is over. Rumors about a secret room twist or wildcard entry have started. But no official announcement has been made that she will return to the Bigg Boss house.
The Day 2 eviction has demonstrated very clearly that this season is now more willing to break the rules and surprise the contestants and viewers. Jaseela Parveen’s surprise decision has already been one of the most talked-about moments in the opening episodes, and Gayathri Suresh’s early exit has been another one that has added a little more unpredictability to the competition.
