Bigg Boss 2026: 95+ Sponsors, Six Languages and Six Superstar Hosts Set for Mega Festive Season
Bigg Boss 2026 is gearing up for one of the biggest festive-season launches in Indian television, with the popular reality show expanding across six languages and more than 95 sponsors. Hindi, Bangla, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam versions will be included in the JioStar Network and JioHotstar editions.
The huge expansion will allow the franchise to have a much stronger presence in India’s various regional markets. It also marks a big commercial milestone with brands from FMCG, automobiles, jewellery, fintech, personal care, food and beverages, retail, e-commerce, real estate and lifestyle entering the 2026 season.
Bigg Boss 2026 to feature six major hosts.
One of the key features of the 2026 franchise is its impressive line-up of hosts. Salman Khan will take over the Hindi edition, and former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly will host Bigg Boss Bangla.
In the southern editions, Vijay Sethupathi will host the Tamil version, Nagarjuna will return for Telugu, Kiccha Sudeep will be the Kannada host, and Mohanlal will host the Malayalam season.
Six prominent personalities will strengthen the connection between the show and audiences in each language market and make the overall franchise a nationwide brand.
September 6 to Witness Bigg Boss Launches.
The 2026 rollout is planned to be in the festive season. Bigg Boss Bangla was launched on August 30, and Bigg Boss Hindi Season 20 and the four southern editions were released on September 6.
That means viewers in the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam markets will receive their new seasons at the same festive window, and a multi-language Bigg Boss celebration will take place.
The franchise has also gained momentum through regional pre-shows. Common Man in Tamil, Agnipareeksha in Malayalam, Agnipariksha in Telugu and Agniparikshe in Kannada.
More than 95 Brands Join the Franchise
Commercial response to Bigg Boss 2026 has been particularly strong. More than 95 sponsors have signed up for the six editions, and reality entertainment as an advertising platform is becoming increasingly important.
The major national brands associated with the franchise are Hindustan Unilever, Britannia, Asian Paints, Maruti Suzuki, Godrej Consumer Products, Hero MotoCorp and Mondelez, alongside some regional and category-specific advertisers.
The recent season has also witnessed a big increase in first-time advertisers. According to reports, 70% of the advertisers in the Hindi market are new associations, while over 50% of the advertisers in southern markets are coming in for the first time to the franchise.
Bigg Boss has National Reach With Regional Relevance
The 2026 strategy is really at the heart of it, in the sense of national scale and regional relevance. Instead of focusing on a single language audience, the franchise allows advertisers to reach viewers in multiple markets on a regional scale and to fit campaigns to local cultures and languages.
This is particularly important in India’s festive season, when consumer activity is generally higher across categories. Brands could therefore leverage Bigg Boss’ popularity to create campaigns that combine television visibility with digital engagement.
JioStar has also shown that streaming makes Bigg Boss more interactive; watching episodes and conversations, voting, as well as in-depth conversations, and becoming part of the show’s broader digital ecosystem is a big part of Bigg Boss's interactive nature.
Bigg Boss has this huge audience already.
The franchise is on an audience record as well for the new season. Bigg Boss attracted over 500 million viewers in 2025 and generated over 438 billion viewing minutes across its language editions, according to JioStar. The franchise saw a 47% year-on-year increase in engagement.
Now that six editions for holidays are coming together at the same time of year, we expect the 2026 season to further expand the show’s cultural and commercial reach.
Produced and owned by Banijay Asia and EndemolShine India, Bigg Boss 2026 is positioning itself as more than just a TV reality show. With six languages, six high-profile hosts, more than 95 sponsors, and a huge digital presence through JioHotstar, the franchise enters the festive season with an unusually large national footprint.
For viewers, the biggest attraction will remain the contestants, drama, tasks, and unpredictable moments inside the Bigg Boss houses. But for advertisers, the 2026 season is something bigger: a single entertainment franchise that can connect brands to audiences in India’s largest linguistic markets.
