Bigg Boss 20 is in high demand with the show's contestants being talked about in the background. While the makers have not yet provided a complete list of people to work on it and the names of the contestants are still being discussed online and in the media, Faissal Khan, actor and the brother of Bollywood star Aamir Khan, has been called up.
According to Variety India, Faissal Khan will be part of the upcoming season of the popular reality show. If the report is accurate, his inclusion in such a show would bring a different kind of personal and emotional aspect to the programme. Faissal has been in the public eye for years in the past due to his acting career and media reports about his relationship with his family.
Faissal made his acting debut in the 1994 romantic drama Madhosh where he appeared opposite Anjali Jathar. But his career in the film industry did not reach the same level as that of his younger brother Aamir Khan. Faissal has spoken about the problems he went through in his professional and personal life, and the involvement in Bigg Boss 20 could be considered to be a big comeback television show.
But this is not the first time Faissal has been approached for the franchise. He was approached to participate in Bigg Boss 16 in 2022, but he declined to enter the house. If he takes the offer this time, it would be his first big reality TV show.
The possibility of Faissal entering the Bigg Boss house has also attracted attention because of his complicated relationship with his family. As a family member, they said they’d asked the media not to treat Faissal's allegations as just facts and cited concerns about his mental health. Four members of Aamir’s family signed the statement: his first wife Reena Dutta, son Junaid Khan, daughter Ira Khan, and others.
With Salman Khan back as host, Bigg Boss 20 will bring the show’s old and familiar setup of interpersonal conflicts, nominations, tasks, and twists alongside a new batch of contestants. A person with Faissal's background would likely become one of the most eagerly awaited participants this season, since the series’s biggest names and the big picture of his family problems are well known, and people are already familiar with the bigger drama of his family situation.
At the same time, it is important to note that Faissal Khan's involvement is based on media reports and speculation until the show creators actually make the contestant list public. Reality shows often generate huge pre-premiere rumors, and not every name that goes on to be announced in the house is actually in the show.
