Jyotirmayee Nayak became the winner of Indian Idol Season 16 and the winner of the prize after a journey which took the viewers of the show on a journey. This was the end of the show and the winner was Odisha's bright singer and she got the winner's trophy and a cash prize of ₹20 lakh. Tanishk Shukla was the runner-up after consistently performing well in the whole season.
Jyotirmayee is the first Odisha-based contestant to win Indian Idol and so far she is the most successful. In our experience she was able to bring herself to the front of the pack from week one and a great vocalist on stage.
The final brought the season’s best finalists together and all of them had their best performance before the winner was picked. The first runner-up was Tanishk Shukla and his vocals and consistency were praised in the competition. His music work at the show won him a lot of fans and many people praised him on the final.
The judges were the stars of Indian Idol, Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Dadlani, Badshah and others so the judges were helpful for them in the competition and were very giving throughout and helped them develop their ability to make the best of their talent. The finale also had some of the most emotional scenes and the contestants had to say their goodbyes.
Jyotirmayee thanked her family, mentors, fans and all the people who have been around her for her throughout the competition to help her to get the title as she was able to win and said she hopes to be a playback singer in the Bollywood industry. She said that she feels that she wants to become a playback singer in Bollywood films and that she wants to help the leading Bollywood actresses in the future in a post-final interview.
Social media was flooded with congratulatory messages even as soon as the results came home soon after the results were announced. Odisha’s fans were shocked when Odisha’s fans were celebrating the historic victory as they hailed it as a great victory for the state; it was a proud moment for the state. Jyotirmayee Nayak and Indian Idol 16 became trending and hashtags related to Jyotirmayee Nayak and Indian Idol 16 were soon trending on social media as viewers hailed Jyotirmayee Nayak’s talent and inspiring story.
Jyotirmayee Nayak will now have the trophy in her hands and a bright future ahead. Tanishk Shukla’s second place finish in Indian Idol 16 has also brought him recognition and admiration but this is the finale of Indian Idol 16 that should be remembered for bringing in the best talent and a promising voice to India's music industry.
