When Jai Krishna Ghattamaneni’s first film Srinivasa Mangapuram was released the film’s promotions were a sentimental celebration of family legacy when the young actor took the role of introducing the film’s promotional campaign in front of the statue of his legendary grandfather Superstar Krishna in Burripalem village, Andhra Pradesh.

The event took place on July 12, and it was very sentimental for the Ghattamaneni family. Burripalem is the ancestral village of the family but it was the place where Mahesh Babu started the promotional campaign of his first film Raja Kumarudu in 1999. In fact, Srinivasa Mangapuram will also be released on July 30, the same date Raja Kumarudu was released, which is even more special.
Family members, fans, and local residents were in the audience to present Jai Krishna’s introduction to Telugu cinema. The promotion at Krishna’s statue was launched to commemorate the great actor’s life and establish the next generation of the Ghattamaneni family in the film industry.
Srinivasa Mangapuram is a romantic drama by Ajay Bhupathi and Jai Krishna is the lead actor in this film as opposed to Rasha Thadani who has a more prominent role. Mohan Babu also plays a crucial role and it will bring star power to the project.
The recently released promotional material has received positive responses from fans and industry players as well. Mahesh Babu himself said the trailer was quite awesome and will attend the pre-release event of the film to urge his nephew.
The movie has created a lot of buzz in Telugu cinema and we are anxious to see if Jai Krishna can carry on the rich cinematic legacy of his grandfather Krishna and Mahesh Babu.
As Ghattamaneni family fans, the promotional launch was quite nostalgic: it was the connection of three generations of actors on the same set and same date of release. The symbolic gesture was appreciated by the public on social media for pictures and messages to commemorate the continuation of the family’s cinematic story.
Srinivasa Mangapuram is one of the most eagerly awaited Telugu movies of the year.
As the countdown to its July 30 release starts, expectations are high. What Jai Krishna Ghattamaneni will contribute to these movies is still to be seen, but it will be done with respect to the great legacy of the Ghattamaneni family.
