Telugu superstar Jr NTR suffered minor injuries while shooting for an advertisement in Hyderabad. The actor was filming at Annapurna Studios when the incident took place.
And the actor is now said to be stable, so fans are not worried about him. But medical professionals have said he should rest for a couple of weeks to recover fully.
According to Bollywood Hungama, Jr NTR had the injury on September 19 while working on a commercial. The actor’s doctor confirmed that it was a minor injury and he is well.
“Jr NTR suffered a minor injury today while shooting for an advertisement. He is going to rest for a couple of weeks on medical advice and we would like to assure everyone that his condition is stable and there is no cause for concern. We would like to ask fans, media and the public to stop speculation,” the source said.
News of the incident quickly spread on social media and fans expressed concern and sent messages to the actor to wish him well for a quick recovery. Many admirers expressed concern and urged him to take good rest before going back to work.
Jr NTR has a huge fan base in India and after the global success of SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster film *RRR*, his performance in the film made him one of the most popular Telugu actors on the international stage.
What’s Next for Jr NTR?
Despite the minor injury, Jr NTR is also preparing for big projects. The actor is going to play a lead role in an ambitious pan-India action thriller directed by filmmaker Prashanth Neel.
The project is currently referred to as NTRNEEL, but there were suggestions that the film could be named *Dragon*. The makers have not officially confirmed the final title.
The music is by Ravi Basrur and Bhuvan Gowda is doing the cinematography. It is produced by Kalyan Ram Nandamuri, Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili and Hari Krishna Kosaraju under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts.
The highly anticipated project is going to be released on June 25, 2026. We are hoping to release the film in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, which is going to make it a pan-India film.
