The film KAAKA, the much-awaited title glimpse of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film KAAKA, has been released, showing us the new world of director Bobby Kolli. The film KAAKA has generated much interest in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s next film as a whole. The film is being produced by Venkat K Narayana under KVN Productions and will be a high-energy action entertainer, scheduled for worldwide release on January 13, 2027, during the Sankranthi festival season.

The title glimpse was released on Chiranjeevi’s birthday, which was the first full glimpse of the character and tone of the eagerly awaited project.
Chiranjeevi introduced as K Satyam
The glimpse begins with Chiranjeevi as K Satyam, a supervisor in the aqua industry. Unlike the larger-than-life image of the Megastar, Satyam is just an ordinary middle-aged employee.
He is wearing glasses and is a relaxed, understated person. Satyam interacts with members of his team, speaks with the Chennai staff about an upcoming load over the phone, and turns down Sunil’s leave request.
The character is also casually dealing with a situation involving the scooter keys given to him by his daughter. What appears to be an everyday moment soon becomes the first major hook of the glimpse.
Guns Emerge From the Water
The scooter keys accidentally fall into the water, and the sequence is set.
A dog arrives with a remote-controlled device that helps Satyam retrieve the keys using a magnet. But what comes from the water changes the whole mood of the glimpse.
Along with the keys, guns are pulled out of the water.
The clever transition allows Bobby Kolli to slip from the simple world of K Satyam into the much more complicated world of KAAKA. And the reveal immediately raises questions about Satyam's real identity and his connection to the weapons.
A Younger Chiranjeevi Arrives
Then the glimpse delivers its biggest surprise.
A younger-looking Chiranjeevi enters in a completely different avatar, showing a great deal of personality, confidence and aggression. The atmosphere changes instantly, and a high-energy gun action sequence starts.
The contrast of Chiranjeevi in the two versions seems to be central to the film’s narrative.
One aspect is a reminder of K Satyam’s simplicity and everyday charm, and the other is a younger, more stylish and action-oriented person.
This duality gives KAAKA a distinct identity and suggests that Bobby Kolli has designed the protagonist around contrasting shades of Chiranjeevi's screen persona.
Visuals and Music Help
A visual treatment is another major highlight of the glimpse.
The cinematographer Vijay Karthik Kannan keeps things grounded in the first few scenes, and the tone is character-based and very focused. It is always a good time to go for sharp and dynamic action images.
The change of visual language is a representation of Chiranjeevi’s transformation and helps to keep you waiting without revealing too much about the story.
Thaman provides the background score, heightening the action while maintaining the atmosphere created by the visuals.
Fans are also getting a special treat with a remix of “Gang Gang” from Gang Leader, adding a nostalgic element to the promotional material.
Chiranjeevi's Two Looks Become the Talking Point
Chiranjeevi looks comfortable in both avatars.
The glasses, simple look and middle-class demeanour bring out his natural comic and emotional charm; the younger avatar allows him to demonstrate the swagger and screen presence that have defined several of his iconic roles.
His body language, expressions and action movements suggest that Bobby Kolli has carefully structured the character to make the most of Chiranjeevi’s strengths.
Rather than relying on spectacle, the glimpse creates mystery around the character.
What is the mystery behind K Satyam?
Perhaps the biggest success of the glimpse is that it raises more questions than it answers.
Who exactly is K Satyam? How are the two Chiranjeevi avatars connected? Why are guns being hidden underwater? What is the real significance of the weapons?
These unanswered questions could be key elements of the film’s promotional campaign in the months leading up to its release.
The glimpse therefore acts not only as a showcase of action but as a story of mystery, providing the audience with a little information to know the basic framework while keeping the bigger story in the background.
Sankranthi 2027 Release
KAAKA is scheduled to be available worldwide on January 13, 2027, targeting the Sankranthi festive season.
With Chiranjeevi as the lead, Bobby Kolli as the director, Thaman doing music, and KVN Productions backing the project, the expectations are already high.
The title glimpse suggests that the movie will have family-oriented character moments and an interesting, stylish action and mystery-driven storyline. Should the makers stick to that balance in the promotional material, KAAKA could become one of the largest attractions of the Sankranthi 2027 box office.
At the moment, the glimpse has delivered on its core promise: two contrasting sides of Chiranjeevi, a mysterious character, stylish action and lots of unanswered questions.
