Mammootty’s ‘Siya Entry’ From Dhanush’s OM Released in Telugu and Hindi
The much awaited “Siya Entry” from Dhanush’s upcoming film OM - Chapter 1: Udhiram - The Blood Wood is officially released and gives fans a closer look at Malayalam superstar Mammootty’s character in the highly anticipated action drama. The character reveal has been released in Telugu and Hindi.
The release is also situated on Mammootty’s 75th birthday. The creators had teased the character reveal as a major introduction and had built anticipation among fans with the mysterious name “Siya.”
In OM Mammootty plays Burma Karthikeyan, a smuggler whose larger-than-life personality gives him the name “Siya” meaning “The Elder One” among people and even law enforcement teams. The new introduction video lets audiences see the character in action, attitude and gray shades.
The film is managed by Rajkumar Periasamy (best known for Amaran) and Dhanush plays in the lead role. This is a wonderful collaboration between two of the biggest stars of Indian cinema. Mammootty is back to Tamil cinema after his last Tamil performance in Peranbu in 2019.

The “Siya Entry” has also created much excitement due to Mammootty’s character. Promotional material had already hinted at an explosive introduction with the first song from the film Alaakaa Loova featuring a brief glimpse of Mammootty and the phrase “Therikkuthu Siya Entry.”
Music for OM is composed by Sai Abhyankkar, one of the most prominent young composers in South Indian cinema. His involvement has added another layer of anticipation to the film, especially given the response to his recent musical releases.
Naseeruddin Shah, Sai Pallavi, and Sreeleela are also present in the team and all these actors come from different film industries. The presence of Naseeruddin Shah is especially significant as the veteran actor is making his Tamil cinema debut with the project.
Dhanush is also producing the film under Wunderbar Films along with Shraddha Agarwal and Azmat Jagmag of R Take Studios. Dhanush’s production, Rajkumar Periasamy’s direction and Mammootty’s strong screen presence has made OM one of the more watched upcoming South Indian films.
The new “Siya Entry” is also going to make it more interesting to the film’s story and Mammootty’s role. In the promotional video, Burma Karthikeyan is revealed but the makers are still keeping some of the details of the story hidden.
The movie will be released globally on 16 October 2026, Cinema Express said.
With Telugu and Hindi versions of the “Siya Entry” available, fans in different parts of the world can experience Mammootty’s introduction in their native language. This should help drive up the promotion campaign ahead of the film’s theatrical release.
For Mammootty and Dhanush fans, there will be a big cinematic battle, while Sai Abhyankkar's music and Rajkumar Periasamy's direction add to the expectations of OM - Chapter 1: Udhiram - The Blood Wood.
