Arjun Reddy remains one of the most significant films in the careers of both Vanga and Vijay. The Telugu-language romantic drama was Vanga's first directorial film, and Vijay Deverakonda played the lead role. It was a huge commercial hit and quickly gained a cult following amongst the audience.
The impact of the film also extended beyond Telugu cinema. Arjun Reddy was later remade in Hindi as Kabir Singh, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. The Hindi version proved much more successful at the box office, and the story and characters in general were more widely known to the general public.
For fans of the original, an extended version might provide a chance to see more of the film. But bringing it to the screen would take a lot of work, and the project needs a lot of work from Vanga.
Vijay Deverakonda would only take between two and three days to dub the new parts for the new ones, the director indicated. Vanga would spend approximately 15 to 20 days on the film. Hence, the anniversary release is not a finished theatrical project, but one that is in discussions and can be considered for the future.
The timing would be important. Arjun Reddy will reach 10 years in 2027, so an anniversary re-release or extended edition is very attractive to the film's fans. The movie's impact on today's Telugu cinema and its role in establishing Vanga as one of the world's largest filmmakers have kept it relevant even after ten years of release.

When the project will come to life for the 10th anniversary will depend on Vanga’s schedule and his commitment to work on it and work on the film after he can get back to it to the extent it needs to be.
