The Paradise Release Postponement: What Is Behind Nani’s Film Delay?
Nani’s eagerly awaited movie The Paradise has been delayed, with industry reports saying it could not be released on September 24. While no official confirmation is forthcoming regarding the delay, trade circles are talking about October 1 as a new date for release.
The change has also raised questions about the release date of another Telugu movie, Aadarsha Kutumbham House No. 47, which is backed by producer Naga Vamsi. The film will be released on October 2, and the two movies could be affected, the story suggests.
According to the report in the trade, Naga Vamsi has a 25% interest in the Nizam distribution rights of The Paradise according to media reports in the industry. According to them, the film has been sold at a very high price in various parts of the world, and its theatrical release is very important to the companies involved.
Why is The Paradise postponed?
It is the movie’s climax that is most of the main reason for the delay. The Paradise features a huge CGI sequence at the end of the movie, so the visual effects work is taking longer than expected, and the movie is not quite ready to be released by the time it was announced.
Producer Sudhakar Cherukuri is spending around ₹2 crore on the climax CGI. The scale of the visual effects work has made it very difficult for the team to complete the sequence within the available schedule.
