The much-anticipated third instalment of the Drishyam franchise has finally been named Drishyam: The Conclusion. Ajay Devgn, who’s made Drishyam 3 and Drishyam: The Conclusion in the past, has made it official. This thriller will be the last chapter of Vijay Salgaonkar’s story.

The movie will be released on October 2, and fans of the franchise will have another date to look forward to.
Ajay Devgn unveiled the first poster of the movie on X. The poster shows a close-up of the actor’s face in the right eye, and his eye is at the centre of the stage. The visual retains the dark and tense atmosphere that has become the signature of the Drishyam franchise.
Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay Salgaonkar.
Ajay Devgn will again take on Vijay Salgaonkar’s role of the main character whose intelligence and determination have been driving this franchise.
The first poster reads, “Mera Sach, Mera Sahi, Sirf Meri Family Hai”, reinforcing Vijay’s core motivation throughout the story— protecting his family at any cost.
Sharing the poster, Ajay wrote that everyone has a different view and that for Vijay, his family is everything. He also confirmed the October 2 theatrical release of Drishyam: The Conclusion.
The tagline suggests that the final chapter will continue exploring the complicated relationship between truth, justice and family loyalty.
First Teaser Had Already Created Curiosity
The first-look teaser of the film (released in December 2025) had already aroused great interest among fans.
In the teaser, Ajay's voiceover was shaped by Vijay's mindset and his understanding of the truth and justice after the events of the previous films. He told us that the character still regards his family as his ultimate responsibility.
The teaser also indicated that the consequences of events over the past seven years might play a major role in the final chapter.
With the makers now declaring Drishyam: The Conclusion, the teaser’s references have taken on more significance.

Original Cast Members Return
The third film will see more of the franchise as a whole.
Along with Ajay Devgn, Tabu will reprise her role as IG Meera Deshmukh, while Shriya Saran will return as Nandini Salgaonkar.
Rajat Kapoor is also returning to the franchise. At the same time, the film introduces new faces to the story, with Prakash Raj and Jaideep Ahlawat joining the cast in new characters.
When the actors and new characters are added in, I suspect to add another layer of intrigue to the end of the story and add more detail to the last chapter.
Drishyam: The Conclusion Shooting Wrapped
The makers have completed shooting for Drishyam: The Conclusion and the film has entered the post-production phase.
The project is backed by Star Studio18 and Panorama Studios and is headed by Abhishek Pathak, who also directed Drishyam 2.
Now the director will have to take control of a popular thriller story from the series and still have to end it all, but keep the suspense and emotional stakes very high.
What Could You Expect From The Final Chapter?
The Drishyam franchise has made it so popular that Vijay Salgaonkar is able to keep a step ahead and protect his family. But the next film will bring that central conflict to life, and what happens when the past catches up to him?
The title reads The Conclusion, and the creators will conclude the long-running story.
But many details of the plot are not known. The makers have only shown us bits and pieces through the teaser and first poster so far, with big story developments being kept away from the audience.
With Ajay Devgn returning as Vijay, Tabu returning as Meera Deshmukh and several new characters entering the narrative, the sense of anticipation for the last instalment is high.
Drishyam: The Conclusion will be released on October 2, and it will be the final big-screen entry of Vijay Salgaonkar’s gripping story.
