Playback singer Sukriti Kakar, who has sung with such popular Bollywood songs including Jhoome Jo Pathaan and Kar Gayi Chull, has announced her engagement to her long-time boyfriend Shoumik Shetty. The singer shared dreamy images from the romantic proposal on social media to show fans what a good time was like.
Sukriti and Shoumik both posted photos of the proposal. In one of the photos, Shoumik gets down on one knee and puts the ring on Sukriti’s finger as she smiles with excitement. The couple had a romantic kiss and posed together at the picturesque location. Sukriti put her message through simple and heartfelt writing, “Today, tomorrow, forever.”
The engagement announcement was received with joy from friends, fans, and members of the music and entertainment industry. Singer Armaan Malik wished the couple well and some celebrities were happy for the newly engaged couple. Sukriti's twin sister Prakriti Kakar was also very excited about the news and welcomed Shoumik into the family, calling the couple soulmates.
