Telugu movie icon Victory Venkatesh is celebrating 40 years in the film industry, four decades since his acting debut with Kaliyuga Pandavulu.

Kaliyuga Pandavulu introduced Venkatesh to Telugu audiences in August 1986. Directed by K. Raghavendra Rao and produced by Suresh Productions, the movie became a box office hit and set the stage for a career of over four decades.
From Kaliyuga Pandavulu to 40 Years of Stardom
Venkatesh’s journey from his first film to becoming one of Telugu cinema’s biggest family entertainers is remarkable.
Over the years he has made some of the best movies in action, comedy, romance and family drama. His ability to reach an audience of all ages has earned him the affectionate title “Victory Venkatesh.”
His career has also been closely linked with Suresh Productions, the production house founded by his father D. Ramanaidu.
Khushbu Recalls Her First Meeting With Venkatesh
Kaliyuga Pandavulu was also special for actress Khushbu Sundar, who made her Telugu debut alongside Venkatesh.
Recalling the early days, Khushbu reportedly recalled arriving on the sets as a “gawky 15-year-old” and eventually making a lifelong friend in Venkatesh.
Her memories contributed to the celebration of the actor’s 40-year milestone and reinforced the relationships he has forged in his career.
Fans Celebrate Ruby Jubilee
Venkatesh’s fans have celebrated the occasion with elaborate celebrations in Hyderabad and other places.
Ruby Jubilee banners and standees are being installed in Ramanaidu Studios to honour the actor’s four decades in cinema. Fan groups have also organised a blood donation drive as part of the milestone celebrations.
The celebrations show the strong affinity between Venkatesh and his fans (and especially audiences who have seen his movies) even if this is not the first time they attended the celebrations.
Production Houses Praise Venkatesh
Some of the Telugu film industry members have also joined celebrations and praised Venkatesh’s contribution to cinema.
He has been called a movie actor who can bring family audiences to theatres and his movies are much more popular with parents and younger generations alike.
His clean comic timing, emotional performances and ability to transition between serious action roles and family entertainers have kept him with a loyal audience for decades.
VenkyAnil5 is bringing up the pace with more excitement.
The 40th anniversary celebrations have also coincided with interest in Venkatesh's upcoming projects.
The actor’s work with director Anil Ravipudi (VenkyAnil5, as we call it now) has generated considerable excitement within the film community. The teaser and promotional material of the project have also been released and fans have also been excited to see the old-school actor.
Four Decades and still Going Strong
From Kaliyuga Pandavulu in 1986 through all the present projects Venkatesh has developed a career that is versatile, consistent and has a strong connection to family audiences.
As he finishes 40 years in Telugu cinema, the celebrations are not only about the number of years but about the memories created through generations of films.
For his fans, the Ruby Jubilee is four decades of Victory Venkatesh - an actor whose popularity still remains strong even after 40 years.
