Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been seen in vintage avatars while shooting for "Love & War". The newly revealed images have attracted a lot of attention as they seem to be going to a different time period for Bhansali’s upcoming film. While few details about their characters have been revealed so far, their looks have certainly made you curious about their movie.

Ranbir and Alia will have their first big screen reunion with a movie that will bring them on the same platform. The two actors have previously appeared on screen in Ayan Mukerji's "Brahmastra", and the chemistry of the two actors became an integral part of the fantasy adventure. In contrast to Bhansali, with the movie with his beautiful sets and elaborate costumes, dramatic story, and visual richness of music will be an entirely different movie.

"Love & War" also brings Vicky Kaushal into the central equation, making the project one of the most interesting casting combinations in modern Hindi cinema. Vicky and Ranbir were previously able to work together in "Sanju", and Vicky and Alia in "Raazi". This reunion in one Bhansali movie is therefore generating huge interest among moviegoers.

The movie was initially scheduled to be released in December 2025, but subsequently was pushed to a grand theatrical release on January 21, 2027. The delay has also provided the filmmakers with additional time to address the film’s many production requirements (large scale scenes would be key to the story).

According to reports, Bhansali wants to complete the shoot by August 31. The deadline is crucial as Ranbir, Alia, and Vicky are going to go to work on other things once the current schedule comes to a close. Because all three actors have so many lines of work to work on in the final stages of "Love & War", the production has very much to do.

The final schedule is expected to have big war sequences and dance numbers. Reports suggest that war parts will be done on a huge scale with dozens of stunt performers and hundreds of junior artists involved. Such sequences could further highlight the film’s grand visual treatment and Bhansali’s signature approach to large-scale storytelling.

Ranbir finishing "Love & War" is also important as the actor has several major projects. After completion of "Love & War", reports have said that he will turn his attention to promotional activities for "Ramayana". So the actor’s daily schedule is very important to him.

Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, still deals with a lot of big projects while Vicky Kaushal has a busy professional life as well. So their simultaneous participation in "Love & War" has made the project one of the most watched in Bollywood.

The shoot is getting closer and closer to completion, and expectations for "Love & War" are about to rise. Bhansali’s filmmaking style, the star power of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, and the promise of elaborate retro aesthetics are so far part of the story that it’s already known the film will be one of the most eagerly awaited theatrical attractions of 2027. The audience will want to watch for more official footage, character sketches, song details, and promotional material at the time of release.
