According to the reports, KVN Productions first asked Nayanthara to attend the promotional event. Her manager told the production team that the actress usually does not attend promotional programmes. But the makers made a heartfelt request, hoping she would make an exception for Toxic.
Yash was able to see Nayanthara and contact her to join promotions. Nayanthara, it was said, told him to go to the event but was also shooting for the project with Salman Khan and her scenes were shot with direct combination sequences with the superstar. If she didn't go to the shoot, the day’s filming would have been cancelled.
Yash then contacted Salman Khan and explained the situation. Salman, as it is claimed in the online narrative, understood that Nayanthara's presence was required for Toxic and he told Yash that the actress should attend the promotional event. Salman said Nayanthara’s presence was crucial to the film's promotion and that he would even let Nayanthara be there even if his shoot was cancelled for a day.
Following the conversation, Nayanthara traveled to Bengaluru around 12:30 PM and later that night she went to the Toxic promotional event. She returned to Mumbai the next day to resume filming for the Salman Khan–Vamsi project.
The episode was appreciated by the viewers as it shows the professional relationships between the three stars. It also illustrates Toxic’s importance in her career and in her friendship with Yash and director Geetu Mohandas: Nayanthara takes time for the event despite her busy schedule.
