Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt could be seen as the stars and it will bring the international action thriller ‘7 Dogs’ to Indian cinemas on August 21, 2026. The film will bring together India, Egypt, Europe, Hollywood and the Middle East talent in a global one.

Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, directors of the Bad Boys franchise, 7 Dogs is led by Egyptian actors Ahmed Ezz and Karim Abdel Aziz. It also stars Italian star Monica Bellucci and Breaking Bad actor Giancarlo Esposito.

Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt are among the film’s big attractions for Indian audience but their roles are more like special appearances than lead characters. But the reunion has made Bollywood fans very excited.
The film is primarily about Egyptian characters played by Ahmed Ezz and Karim Abdel Aziz. Both an Interpol officer and a criminal figure have to work together in order to fight a gang of drug cartels and drug traffickers.
A Global Action Spectacle
Produced by Sela Studios with the backing of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority and Riyadh Season, 7 Dogs has been positioned as a major Arabic-language action movie. Estimates have the film budget at around $40 million, making it one of the most ambitious Arabic films to date.
The movie's action sequences were made with 87Eleven, the stunt company associated with the John Wick franchise. The production also earned two Guinness World Records for film stunt explosions.
When will ‘7 Dogs’ be released in India?
7 Dogs will be released in Hindi and English in Indian cinemas on August 21, 2026. It was originally premiered in the Middle East in May and is now available to Indian theatres.
With Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Monica Bellucci and Giancarlo Esposito on the team with Egyptian stars Ahmed Ezz and Karim Abdel Aziz, 7 Dogs is a unique mix of international talent and big-screen action.
