The next big thing that Yash is preparing for is Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, which has already started to sell out ahead of its worldwide theatrical release. When the film is just two weeks away from its global premiere, we are now getting people into it to book tickets in the Kannada, Telugu, Hindi and Tamil versions.

The film will have its US premiere on August 25, just after it is released in various countries. In the UK, screenings will start on August 26, and international audiences get to see the much awaited action drama at the same time as Indian audiences.
And Toxic is directed by Geetu Mohandas, so there are many interesting roles for Yash in what is described as a challenging dual role. He plays Raya, a gangster, and his son Rumi. Also in the film are Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. The movie will be about family, power, violence and complicated relationships and the tagline “Honour Thy Father” is a reference to the father-son relationship.
Advance ticket sales in the United States have already generated strong interest among Yash's international fan base. With the multilingual release in mind, it should reach a large audience in various territories in India including Indian cinema fans in North America, the UK and other overseas territories.
The overseas advance booking activity is especially significant because international markets have become an increasingly important part of the box office performance of large Indian films. Strong pre-sales can give an early indication of audience interest; however, actual opening collections will ultimately depend on occupancy, other shows and word-of-mouth after release.
Toxic has also received a lot of attention because of its long length -- there are reports of around three hours for the movie. The long duration is also one of the talking points for fans that want a big-scale theatrical experience with action, drama and emotional storytelling.
A promotional campaign for the film is also taking off and the film has been on its way to the music launch in Mumbai, and there is much talk about its music launch date in Mumbai. The makers will increase the promotion as the release date of the film gets closer in many of the key Indian and international markets.
Yash’s Toxic is one of his biggest projects since the blockbuster KGF: Chapter 2. The collaboration with Geetu Mohandas has also aroused considerable curiosity because of the director’s previous critically acclaimed work and her move into a large-scale commercial production.
With advance bookings already up in the US and UK, Toxic is in its final phase. From California to London, Yash's worldwide fan base is preparing for what the makers hope will be a huge multilingual theatrical event.
