Bruno Mars is also preparing for a big return to South Korea, but his concerts may be even more special if BLACKPINK’s Rosé agrees to meet up for their chart-topping collaboration APT. The singer will play four solo shows at Goyang Sports Complex in May 2027 and give fans another chance to see the international superstar live in the country.

Bruno’s South Korea concerts will take place on May 21, 22, 25, and 26, 2027. The performances will mark his first solo shows in the country in nearly four years, following his 2023 concerts at the Jamsil Sports Complex Main Stadium. While Bruno’s announcement was a new one for the fans, Bruno has now added another attraction around the Seoul shows in which the shows would be conducted - a reunion with Rosé.

Bruno Mars Wants Rosé Back On Stage.

Bruno Mars just sent a jokey text to Rosé saying he would love to perform APT. with the BLACKPINK member in his upcoming Korean concerts. The collaboration between the two artists became one of music's biggest global music moments after the song was released in October 2024.

Bruno directly addressed Rosé and asked how he would have to convince her to perform APT. with him in Korea. He described a potential reunion as a “full circle moment” for the American pop star and Korean audience.

But Bruno’s message quickly took a funny turn. The singer joked that Rosé has become so successful that he may not be able to afford her anymore. He even joked that she does not answer his calls now.

His comments appeared to be delivered in the same lighthearted manner that has so far characterized much of the duo’s public engagement around APT. Rather than suggesting any real conflict between the two artists, the comments underline just how much Rosé’s global profile has grown since the song became an international phenomenon.

‘APT.’ Became Global Phenomenon.

APT. was released in October 2024 and drew on the talents of two big names from different parts of the world of music. The song was inspired by a Korean drinking game that combined Rosé’s K-pop background with Bruno Mars’s distinctive pop and funk sound.

The success of the collaboration brought the collaboration to audiences in many markets and established Rosé as a major solo artist outside of BLACKPINK to a global audience and established Rosé as a big solo artist with a global platform outside of BLACKPINK. Bruno also made connections to South Korea with the song’s popularity to make it easier to connect with Bruno as well as further strengthen his connection with South Korea.

As far as you know, the singer has admitted that Rosé and his relationship with the singer changed the way people of Korea perceive him. And his comments on the collaboration implied that working with the BLACKPINK star had an added level of connection with Korean fans.

That makes it particularly sweet to have APT. together in South Korea. If Rosé appears in one of Bruno’s four concerts it could be a memorable moment for fans who have observed the song hit the headlines worldwide.

Bruno Mars’ Four Korean Concerts

Bruno’s return is almost four years after his prior solo performances in South Korea. His 2023 concerts at Jamsil Sports Complex Main Stadium were big events, and there is already talk about his 2027 comeback.

The four performances scheduled at Goyang Sports Complex will give fans numerous chances to see Bruno performing his biggest hits. But the possibility of Rosé with him is even more exciting.

For now, there is no certainty that Rosé will actually go on stage. Bruno’s comments are funny but that’s only a playful invitation; it’s not an official announcement. But the singer’s public appeal has given fans reason to question.

Rosé has found success as a solo artist and she is also working with BLACKPINK. In collaboration with Bruno she was able to reach the masses outside K-pop. A live performance of APT. in Korea would place the Korean influence of the song, the global success and the musical collaboration of the two artists in one place.

Will Rosé answer Bruno’s call?

The big question is now whether Rosé will accept Bruno Mars’ invitation. The singer’s joke about not being able to reach her has already brought a playful element to his upcoming Korean concerts.

If the BLACKPINK star finally joins Bruno on stage, their performance of APT could become one of the most talked-about moments of his 2027 South Korea tour. Until then, fans will have to wait and see whether Rosé finally answers Bruno’s call— and whether the “expensive” collaborator makes a special appearance in Goyang.

Even if the reunion doesn’t happen, APT. has already cemented Bruno Mars and Rosé’s musical bond. And when they return to the stage in South Korea, fans would have another chance to celebrate one of the most successful cross-cultural pop collaborations of recent years.
