Olivia Taylor Dudley and Francois Arnaud will headline 'GODSTAR,'a new dark comedy film by filmmaker Oren Shai.
The independent film is in principal photography in Los Angeles and is already getting a lot of attention for its compelling plot and strong ensemble cast.
Olivia Taylor Dudley plays Ronnie Dalton, an innovative but troubled actress from New York, who returns to Los Angeles to rehearse a revival of the play that at one time produced her upward mobility.
Ronnie is determined to connect with her former life but finds herself confronting unfinished business from a past she thought she had left behind.
Francois Arnaud plays the part of Sky Blue, Ronnie’s former acting partner and ex-lover. Years earlier, Sky walked away from their relationship and the production that made them successful.
Their reunion after 15 years brings up old feelings, painful memories, and unresolved problems for the one day of rehearsals.
Fellow actors include Blu Hunt and James Urbaniak as lead actors and join the supporting cast. Details of these actors’ characters were not announced until now but they are going to be a huge addition to the movie.
