According to booking figures provided by industry tracker Sacnilk, Toxic has had an all-India gross of ₹24.27 crore so far. The film has sold 6,39,966 tickets across 14,104 shows, indicating the huge level of advance attention for the Yash starrer.

The film will be one of the biggest theatrical releases to be watched, particularly since Yash is so popular after the success of the KGF franchise.

Hindi and Kannada markets lead booking

One of the most interesting aspects of the booking trend is the close competition between the Hindi and Kannada markets.

The Hindi 2D version has already generated around ₹11.06 crore, and is the biggest contributor to the film’s reported advance gross. The Kannada 2D version is close behind with ₹10.99 crore.

The numbers show strong demand in Yash’s home market and the wider Hindi-speaking audience base.

The premium formats also contributed to the advance total. Hindi IMAX 2D has generated around ₹28.57 lakh while Hindi 4DX has generated around ₹22.17 lakh.

In Kannada, the IMAX 2D version has contributed around ₹71.28 lakh while 4DX has added another ₹21.45 lakh.

Other Language Markets Add To Toxic’s Total

Toxic also has bookings in other languages.

The Tamil 2D version has been estimated to have recorded ₹44.85 lakh, while the Malayalam 2D version has generated ₹19.11 lakh. The Telugu 2D version has contributed ₹13.38 lakh and so on.

The Hindi Dolby Cine format has also added approximately ₹64,700 to the overall advance gross.

The figures show that the film is drawing interest from a variety of regional markets, but Hindi and Kannada continue to be the main contributors.

Gross With Blocked Seats Reaches ₹32.85 Crore

In addition to that, the booking tracker has also reported a higher figure when blocked seats are included.

Toxic has recorded a gross of approximately ₹32.85 crore with blocked seats.

Blocked seats can consist of tickets that have been held or reserved in advance and may not represent the same level of confirmed consumer bookings. Therefore, the standard advance gross and the figure including blocked seats should be viewed separately.

But both of them also indicate a great deal of anticipation for the movie before it is actually released in theaters.

Yash Leads A Star-Studded Cast

Toxic has Yash as the lead, with an all-star ensemble cast that includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth.

The film will be directed by Geetu Mohandas, who has a very good style in what she does in movies of all types and will have lots of action, crime, drama, and period elements.

In post-independence Goa, a gangster has to cope with loyalty, morality, and redemption.

The story of the film, the report suggests, is about violence, jealousy, and individual choices and has a dark and atmospheric nature.

What to expect from Toxic At The Box Office?

The strong booking figures have set high expectations for Toxic’s opening day. The popularity of Yash, the large-scale production, the fact that it’s in multiple languages, and premium-format screenings for it could help it to attract audiences in different markets.

But box office performance is ultimately going to depend on audience feedback, word of mouth, occupancy trends, and competition from other releases.

In the lead-up to August 26, more bookings are expected, and the advance gross may grow as well.

So far, the ₹24.27 crore all-India advance gross is a strong early indicator of the anticipation surrounding Toxic. If the film can translate this pre-release demand into strong opening-day occupancy, Yash will have again delivered a major theatrical event.
