Yash’s highly awaited film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is gaining momentum in the U.S as advance ticket sales are already well above $50,000 and well ahead of the theatrical premiere.

Toxic advance booking

As of early booking data Toxic had made around $46,483 from 114 locations and 378 shows and the advance sales of the film have continued to grow as its release date approaches. The numbers are particularly notable since full-scale bookings have yet to open in the wider American theatres.

The Telugu-language screenings are apparently leading the advance sales as the movie is popular with Telugu-speaking audiences in the U.S. The performance also demonstrates Yash's growing popularity beyond the traditional Kannada market after the huge international success of his KGF franchise.

Premium formats are also driving the early momentum. Cinemark XD theatres have reportedly seen a lot of interest as much as those of the much-anticipated action drama, and they’re willing to pay for premium viewing experiences.

California is currently leading the early booking chart, followed by Texas and New Jersey. These states have some of the largest Indian-origin audiences in the United States and traditionally contribute significantly to advance sales for major Indian releases.

The film’s full advance booking will expand further, and bookings will be available in more than 150 U.S. venues. As more shows and locations are made available, the advance sales could increase far more in the days before the premiere.

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is one of the most eagerly awaited Indian movies of 2026, led by Geetu Mohandas. Yash is the lead actor in this multilingual movie with Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.

The film has received extensive attention for its dark visual style, action-oriented approach and ambitious scale. Yash's return to the big screen (as well as his global fan base) after the huge success of his KGF franchise has only increased his fan base’s expectations.

Toxic is also being marketed as a major theatrical spectacle as it is a commercial entertainment to watch over three hours. And the international release will make the film one of the biggest Indian releases for overseas audiences in the upcoming year.

The early U.S. advance-sales figures show the excitement of the movie’s early sales are encouraging and help to show the audience’s level of interest in the film. But these numbers are only advance bookings, and should not be confused with the final box office results of the film.

If the current momentum continues and bookings accelerate when more venues open, Toxic could find a good opening in the U.S. market. For Yash fans, the early response is a sign that the anticipation for his next big-screen performance is building rapidly.
