Rocking Star Yash has commented on why he didn’t go to the funeral of a fan who died by suicide, saying it was because he was worried about how it would be perceived by other fans.

Yash said, in the actor's statement that he did not go because he cared about his fans and did not want to have his presence at the funeral to set a bad precedent.
“I didn’t go because I love them. His funeral might’ve had the wrong kind of effect on society and encouraged more fans to follow the same path.”
The remarks have thrown into question celebrities’ relationship with very passionate fans as well.
Yash's Concern about Fan Safety
For big stars like Yash, fan festivals and public gatherings can draw thousands of people. While this kind of devotion is often understood as affection, self-harm or suicide can put public figures’ responsibilities to questions.
Yash’s reasoning suggests that he wanted to avoid creating the impression that a tragic act could result in a personal appearance or special recognition from the star.
But if the celebrity is a bit more emotionally attached to the fans they go to, and with the long-standing fan base that is there for him, it is hard to see him go to a funeral and send a message to them.
A Sensitive issue for Fan communities.
And it has brought up some conversations about celebrity worship, mental health and responsible fandom to the fore.
Fans can respect an actor’s work and develop a personal relationship with them but they do not have to do so at the expense of their own health and well-being. If a celebrity is there to experience a tragedy, how fans see them reacts also.
Yash’s own remarks therefore reflect the importance of pulling admiration out and away from personal identity and emotional dependence.
The actor’s explanation will be likely to have mixed reactions, for some supporters may believe in his reasoning and others may have thought he would attend the funeral personally.
And the big picture is that no fan should feel that the harm of themselves is a way to prove their loyalty or to gain celebrity attention. Fans are valuable to an artist because they are alive, healthy and able to continue to enjoy and support their favourite actor’s work.
