However, Kannada audiences have been far more divided on the other hand. Some Yash fans have praised Yash’s performance and the film’s visual presentation but some have said the movie has been a disappointment and have not been satisfied with the movie’s story and so the movie was not satisfying and the film’s narrative.

Kannada social media reactions have ranged from high praise for Yash to harsh criticism of the movie’s execution.

Telugu audience reaction is most negative based on the responses available online. Toxic, it is said, is a disaster, and the film will not last even one day. The reactions also reflect the previous controversy in Telangana about the film, and some viewers joke that there’s no need to stop the film because, according to them, audiences themselves will stop watching it after a few days.

North Indian audiences, on the other hand, have been much more enthusiastic. Some viewers have even rated the film as a “10/10” and “paisa vasool,” according to some. Yash’s mass appeal and action sequences and larger-than-life presentation seem to work well with this audience in general.

One sequence that has been much more positive from all sides is the Circus Fight. The high-end action sequence has been acknowledged by many as one of the film’s strongest moments and is a great thing to watch. The circus-based world was also a big part of the film’s marketing narrative before it was released.

Toxic is very much a divisive theatrical experience. Yash’s performance, visuals and action are very much in demand and the screenplay and storytelling have been the most critical aspects of it.
