Bethlehem Kudumba Unit Box Office Collection Day 17: Nivin Pauly Film Sees Strong Weekend Growth
Bethlehem Kudumba Unit continues its impressive theatrical run as the Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju starrer continues to grow in its third week. The Malayalam romantic comedy's collections on Day 17 continue to increase, indicating that audiences want to see the movie even now that it’s well into its theatrical run.
Bethlehem Kudumba Unit in India has now collected approximately Rs 8.10 crore net on Day 17, according to Sacnilk. The India net collection of the film is around Rs 123.40 crore, while the India gross collection is about Rs 144.10 crore.
The film has also been performing well in foreign markets, and it added nearly Rs 4 crore from international territories on Day 17, taking its overseas gross at the moment to about Rs 121 crore. So the worldwide gross has climbed to around Rs 265.10 crore, further cementing its position as one of the biggest box office hits of the year.
Strong Day 17 Growth
The Day 17 performance is especially important since the film was up approximately 15.7% compared to the previous day’s collection. That growth shows the weekend helped the film attract more people into theaters.
The Malayalam version continued to be the main source of income and earned around Rs 6.55 crore on Day 17. The Tamil version contributed around Rs 75 lakh, while the Telugu version contributed approximately Rs 80 lakh.
The multilingual release of the film has therefore helped it to expand beyond the mainstream Malayalam-speaking market.
Bethlehem Kudumba Unit Box Office Collection: Week 1
Bethlehem Kudumba Unit started its theatrical journey with an estimated Rs 4.90 crore net on Day 1. Its opening weekend showed steady growth.
It collected about Rs 7.15 crore on Day 2 and Rs 8.80 crore on Day 3. The film earned around Rs 6.90 crore on Day 4 and Rs 7.90 crore on Days 5 and 6. Day 7 was another good collection of around Rs 8.75 crore.
The film had a total of around Rs 52.30 crore for its first week in cinema and is a good start for its longer run.
Second Week Maintains Momentum
The film got even stronger numbers in the second week. It opened with approximately Rs 9.55 crore on Day 8 and got Rs 10.20 crore on Day 9 and Rs 10.40 crore on Day 10.
Collections then moderated but remained healthy, with the film earning around Rs 6 crore on Day 11, Rs 5.15 crore on Day 12, Rs 4.50 crore on Day 13, and Rs 4.05 crore on Day 14.
The second-week total was about Rs 49.85 crore, taking the film’s India net collection close to the Rs 100 crore milestone even before the completion of its third week.
Third Week Shows Renewed Growth
The third week started with the Bethlehem Kudumba Unit collecting about Rs 6.15 crore on Day 15. It was followed by Rs 5.65 crore on Day 16.
However, the film came back strong on Day 17 with Rs 8.10 crore in total. This proves that the film still depends on weekend footfall and word-of-mouth from theatregoers.
With India net now at around Rs 123.40 crore and worldwide gross at around Rs 265.10 crore, the film has established a strong commercial run.
